Center for Science and the Imagination
What kind of future do you want to live in?
The Center for Science and the Imagination seeks to leverage the talent of the Arizona State University faculty and encourage creative approaches to create broad public engagement around scientific challenges. A cultural engine for thoughtful optimism, the center provides space for productive collaboration between the humanities and the sciences, brings human narratives to scientific questions, and explores the full social implications of cutting-edge research.
The center is directed by Ed Finn, professor in ASU's Department of English and School of Arts, Media + Engineering, with project support from the Intel Corporation, NASA, World Bank, National Science Foundation, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and The John Templeton Foundation.
